Marius Becker

Marius Becker is a cinematographer and photographer with over 15 years of documentary and commercial production experience. Coming from a family of film makers and photographers, visual story telling has been a part of his life since before he was old enough to move a light stand. Growing up in northern New Jersey, biking, hiking, and snowboarding have all been constants. (Donning AT skis for the first time while filming LNT is a step in a new direction.) Marius is drawn to the dedication of the community involved in this documentary and hopes to capture their passion in his images. He also really enjoys early mornings and freezing temperatures which lends itself perfectly to this project.

Dan Cirenza is an experienced splitboarder, professional trail builder and camera operator. After years of working seasonal jobs in Lake Tahoe and the Adirondacks, he permanently relocated on the east coast to work as an environmental scientist and project manager. Previously, Dan filmed major sporting events for ESPN, including Monday Night Football, College GameDay Live, The US Open, and The Little League World Series.

Leave Nice Tracks tells the story of people like Dan in a Vermont community who essentially live a seasonal lifestyle. Working on this project has allowed him to revisit his past careers and bring awareness to a largely unknown subculture that he holds close to his heart.
